We were tasked with creating the launch videos for Mirka’s next generation power tools. This was a big release, 4 tools at once, packaged into a main video with every tool and its features shown off in ONLY 40 seconds. On top this, each tool got its separate video with more details and more use-cases. All of these videos got localized versions, teasers, social and clean versions, totaling over 200 unique videos for this project.

Thanks to rigorous pre-production planning and scripting, we were able to keep the amount of data quite small, since we knew every single shot we wanted going into the project.

We also re-created the tools in Blender together with Mirka, totaling over 1400 frames of picture perfect 3d, focusing in on the smallest details of the tools, against a clean backdrop. We were also able to produce shots that would have been impossible to create in real life, such as opening up the brand new DEXOS to show off the brushless motor, located in the center of the vacuum.
